2012年MBA聯考英語的英譯漢試題形式是，要求考生閱讀一篇約150詞左右的一個或幾個英語段落，并在其全部翻譯成漢語，要求考試理解所給的英語語言材料，并將指部分譯成漢語的能力，譯文應準確、完整、通順；以下是周志恒老師總結的英譯漢對比及四步定位翻譯法：

　　一、英語重結構，語重語義

　　Children will play with dolls equipped with personality chips, computers with in-built personalities will be regarded as workmates rather than tools, relaxation will be in front of smell-television, and the digital age will have arrived.

　　兒童將與裝有個性芯片的玩具娃娃玩耍，具有個性內置的計算機將被視為l工作伙伴而不是是工具，人們將在氣味電視機前休閑，到那時數字化時代就來到了。

　　二、  英語多長句，  漢語多短句

　　Interest in historical methods had arisen less through external challenge to the validity of history as an intellectual discipline and more from internal quarrels among historians themselves.

　　人們對歷史研究方法產生了興趣，這與其說是因為外部對歷史作為一門知識學科的有效性提出了挑戰，還不如說是因為歷史學家內部發生了爭吵。

　　三、英語多從句，漢語多分句

　　On the whole such a conclusion can be drawn with a certain degree of confidence but only if the child can be assumed to have had the same attitude towards the test as the other with whom he is compared, and only if he was not punished by lack of relevant information which they possessed.

　　五、英語多被動，漢語多主動

　　This is the surest guarantee that we shall be successful.

　　這是我們取得成功最可靠的保證。

　　他從泥淖中跨出了穩健的一步。

　　She had a sure grasp of the subject.

　　她對于這門學科的知識掌握得很牢固。

　　He is very sure in his beliefs.

　　他的信仰十分堅定。

　　While there are almost as many definitions of history as there are historians, modern practice most closely conforms to one that sees history as the attempt to recreate and explain the significant events of the past.

　　盡管關于歷史的定義幾乎和歷史學家一樣多，現代實踐最符合這樣一種定義，即把歷史看作是對過去重大歷史事件的再現和解釋。

　　八、英語多前重心，漢語多后重心

　　一、結構分析

　　1. 句子的主干（簡單句和復合句）

　　2. 修飾語（定語、狀語和插入語）

　　二、句子切分

　　金融管理規定必須能應對這種最不負責任的并導致銀行損失慘重的做法，以期扭轉下—個危機，而這下一個危機很可能包括有各種類型的金融技術和資產。但值得審視補償金計劃的根本問題，因為那是眼前利益，但卻讓銀行家們不負責任地甘冒風險。

　　三、詞義推敲

　　詞義推敲包括把代詞譯成名詞、把被動變成主動、把變化處理成重復、把抽象化為具體、把省略掉的東西補充進來、把整個句子試譯出來等方面。

　　四、檢查核對

　　1．代詞翻譯是否到位；

　　2．名詞翻譯是否正確；

　　3．動詞翻譯是否準確；

　　4．修飾語與修飾對象是否能很好地搭配；

　　5．從句與主句的邏輯關系是否出錯；

　　6．慣用法是否譯得符合中文習慣；

　　7．整個譯文有無常識錯誤或者邏輯錯誤；

　　8．整個譯文是否完整；

　　9．整個句子是否通順。

　　翻譯在英語科目中占的分值為15分，考生的英語閱讀能力和漢語表達能力要靠平時的培養和提高，周志恒老師說：在準備考試階段，考生可以做的就是了解一些英譯漢的技巧和方法，然后在這些技巧和方法的指導下進行一些翻譯實踐，使得翻譯水平得到一定程度的提高。
